Once you have been admitted to IENYC, you will need to complete the following steps to enroll and obtain your student visa.
COMPLETE YOUR DECLARATION OF FINANCES
The Declaration of Finances form is required for us to issue your Form I-20, which you will need to schedule your F-1 student visa appointment. Find more detailed information here.
You can complete your Declaration of Finances form here. Once completed, please email the form and supporting documents to admissions@ienyc.ie.edu.
* Any other I-20 you may receive from another institution will not be valid for enrollment at IENYC.
You will receive additional important information about obtaining a student visa when we send your Form I-20
Keep in mind you can also complete the Enrollment Response Form and Place Reservation payment at this stage, however, you will still need to issue your Declaration of Finances form to complete the process if you are an international student.
COMPLETE YOUR ENROLLMENT
To secure your place please complete the Enrollment Response Form and submit your $500 tuition deposit within 4 weeks after receiving Admission to your program of choice.
SUBMIT YOUR TRANSCRIPTS FOR A COURSE BY COURSE EVALUATIOn
If you are an international student, please submit your transcripts for a course-by-course evaluation here.
PAYMENT OF THE I-901 SEVIS FEE
Once you have completed your Declaration of Finances, you will receive the Form I-20. You will need to use the information on the form to pay the I-901 SEVIS Fee. Both the fee and a signed I-20 are required before you apply for a student visa.
Please remember to save your receipt, you will need it for your visa appointment.
APPLYING FOR YOUR STUDENT VISA
You can apply for a visa at any U.S. embassy or consulate. Visit the US Embassy website to apply for an F-1 student visa. Follow the detailed instructions at this website, which include paying your visa fee (different from the 1-901 SEVIS Fee), providing acceptable photographs, completing your online DS-160 visa application, collecting the documentation required for your visa interview, and scheduling your interview appointment.

To facilitate your relocation, you can explore the following housing options:
- Education Housing Services (EHS) – Convenient and safe housing options throughout the city.
- Outpost Club – All-inclusive and affordable housing options (i.e. gas, water, electric, WiFi).
- 4Stay – Platform geared toward students to search for medium to long-term furnished rentals.
- International House – Independent non-profit organization that is home to over 700 resident members from over 100 countries. Private dormitory-style bedrooms, suites, and apartments.
