IE New York College will launch a Master of Science in Sustainable Fashion in September 2025

This month, Manuel Muñiz, Chair of the Board of IE New York College, spoke with Bloomberg Businessweek about the launch of IENYC. During the live interview, Muñiz explained that IE University is the sole member of IENYC, a not-for-profit College located in SoHo and accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. IENYC delivers Master programs with a focus on Business and Sustainability, including the Master of Science in Business for Social Impact and Sustainability, which will begin this February. IE New York College will launch a Master of Science in Sustainable Fashion in September 2025, and will expand its academic portfolio with a Master in Management, a Master in Finance, and a Master in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in 2026.

“This is a long term commitment to have a transatlantic footprint and to run graduate programs in the business space on both sides of the Atlantic,” commented Muñiz. During the interview, Manuel Muñiz touched on the future of international universities, particularly amidst global tensions and a worsening geopolitical landscape. “We’re really doubling down on our vision of what universities should be about,” said Muñiz. “...about building global environments in our classrooms. This is the mission of academia: bringing different points of view, building different kinds of learning environments and experiences for students.”
